Common questions

How do I add an expense?

Tap Add Expense, type the amount, then choose a category, who spent it and which account paid. To log something you've entered recently again, long-press Add Expense.

I deleted a transaction by mistake.

Tap Undo in the bar that appears at the bottom of the screen. It stays for about five seconds.

A balance in Kunaa doesn't match my bank.

Open the account, tap Edit and change its current balance. Kunaa adds the difference as a "Balance correction" entry, so your history still explains the number.

How do I move Kunaa to a new iPhone?

On your old iPhone, go to Settings → Your Data → Back Up All Data and save the file to Files or iCloud Drive. Install Kunaa on the new iPhone, open the same screen and tap Restore from Backup. Restoring replaces whatever is on the new phone.

Can I open my transactions in a spreadsheet?

Yes. Settings → Your Data → Export Transactions (CSV) creates a file that opens in Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets.

Can my partner see the same data on their phone?

Not yet. Today the household lives on one iPhone. Syncing between family members' phones is next on the list.
