Privacy Policy

The short version: the Kunaa app does not collect any data about you. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone, and we never see it. If you join the waitlist on this site, we keep your email address only to tell you when Kunaa is out.

What the app stores

Kunaa stores the information you enter yourself: your household's name, family members (and any photo or emoji you choose for them), accounts and cards, categories, and transactions. For cards you may add the last four digits to tell them apart. Kunaa never asks for or stores full card numbers, CVVs, PINs or banking passwords.

All of this is stored only on your iPhone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.

What we collect

Nothing. Kunaa has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it contains no third-party SDKs. The app does not connect to your bank or to any server run by us.

Exports and backups

You can export your transactions as a CSV file or save a full backup from Settings → Your Data. These files are created only when you ask for them, and they go wherever you choose to save or share them, such as the Files app or iCloud Drive. From that point they are handled by the service you picked, under its own privacy terms.

Deleting your data

Deleting the Kunaa app from your iPhone removes all of its data. Backup files you have saved elsewhere stay where you put them until you delete them.

This website

This site does not use cookies or advertising trackers, and it does not load fonts or scripts from other services.

To see how many people visit, the site uses Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views and which site or link brought visitors here, without cookies and without identifying individual visitors; we only see totals.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). To deliver the pages, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details in short-lived server logs.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the two optional answers you give (how you track spending today and your household size), and which site or link brought you here. We use this only to email you when Kunaa is released and to understand whether people want it. We won't send you anything else, and we never sell or share it.

The waitlist is run by MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Vilnius, Lithuania), which processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. You'll get an email asking you to confirm your address; until you confirm, we won't email you.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us, and we'll delete your details. We delete the whole list once Kunaa has launched and the announcement has gone out, or if we decide not to release it.

Children

Kunaa can hold information about children in your family, such as their name and spending. It stays on your device like everything else, and we have no access to it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
